I just finished a lens about my start on Squidoo with a few little tips I learned along the way. That lens has led to a similar lens (still a Work in Process) with references to more tools I use for Squidoo. There was a lot of material for me to try to organize, as I’d kept notes of all activities over the course of a month and a half trying to figure out how the whole thing worked (I’m better than when I started, but still have a lot to learn!). While going through those notes, I started to wonder: Where exactly were all my lenses in Google? I know the ones that come up on the first page for my keyword or phrase, but I stopped tracking the others as my lens count grew.
Category: Add Squidoo
So when a crazy, full-time wife and mother wants something new in life, what does she do? Add Squidoo. I discovered Squidoo in February, 2009, and have enjoyed every second of the incredibly supportive community and the ease in which this site has made it possible to write online content. It’s a great – free – way to try and make money online.

What Would I Do Without Squidoo?
Ever had one of those days at the office where you think to yourself, “If I can just make it to the car, I’ll be fine.” Ugh. That was today. If I were Steven Spielberg I couldn’t have orchestrated it to go any worse. Actually, it’s been a rough couple of days.

Google is a Giant Help Desk
The process of learning how to create Squidoo pages absolutely absorbs you in learning more about the web and how all things connect. I’ve read so many how-to pages on Squidoo and followed tips from a number of them. One lens suggested that various question and answer websites had do-follow links. If you’ve ever tried to drive web traffic to your own site or page you already know the importance of do-follow links. If you don’t, you should.

So Much To Do, So Little Time
Yup, that’s an original title, isn’t it? But I seem to be out of originality at the moment. I’ve decided to go for Giant status on Squidoo and need to have a minimum of 50 quality lenses done by the end of June. I have 18 published lenses and that took me two full months to accomplish. I’ve improved my speed at putting out lenses, but I’m afraid quality will suffer if I go to fast. The past couple of days I’ve done a lot of legwork in coming up with some lens topics and I think I have about 8 lenses that are “work in process”.
